Lucy Gill Ballet offers friendly fun ballet, tap and modern classes from the age of 3 in Swindon. With over 10 years experience, our classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus offering exams to students. Our aim is To inspire and motivate dancers to find their own unique artistry and self-expression through movement.
Our classes
Royal Academy of Dance syllabus offers an internationally recognised portfolio of examinations and assessments designed to encourage, motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities, outlining a progressive structure for learning and achievement in dance. At Lucy Gill Ballet students start with Pre-Primary and Primary levels. The Dance School offers classes in the full range of RAD Examinations and many students study syllabus work alongside other styles of dance.

Lucy started dancing from the age of 3 at Swindon Academy of Dance completing ballet, tap and modern exams up to advanced level. She successfully auditioned to be a Royal Ballet Junior Associate, Mid Associate and then continued through to be a Senior Associate. Lucy is a qualified RAD teacher and holds a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. She also is qualified in her ISTD DDE in Tap and Modern . Lucy’s first teaching post was in Witney where she taught all ages up to 23. She has then gone onto teach at other dance schools in Swindon before opening her Saturday classes.
